Wishing all my friends and fellow artists warm wishes for the holidays and a prosperous new year ahead. So far, we have yet to experience any significant winter snow in Castine - just a few light dustings now and then. I'm still hoping to have some good snow landscapes to paint from, which everyone here assures me I will get soon enough. Temps are in the 20's and 30's - a universe away from last year's warm and sunny Christmas in our previous hometown of L.A.
But our holiday social calendar has never been so full, with a different holiday party almost every evening at the beautiful homes of our many new Castine friends - which Kristin and I are so incredibly grateful for.
