Having concluded my role as Chairman of the 2013 Castine Plein Air Festival, I am extremely gratified by the event’s resounding success and in hearing that every artist and festival attendee has left our town with a very warm feeling about Castine. All the artists I have heard from said it was the best organized plein air event they had ever participated in. My focus is now on the upcoming wedding of my daughter, assisting Kristin with the operation of Lucky Hill during our high season and returning to my easel. Here is one I did last week from one of my reference photos of Charleston.
