Last Week's One-Day Oil Painting Workshop

My first one-day oil painting workshop of 2014 was held last Thursday at my studio in Castine, Maine. Everyone had a great time throughout the day, starting with a discussion of painting fundamentals, equipment and materials, and composition principles.  I then did a short painting demo from a still life set up.  After the lunch break, all the participants painted from a still life with one-on-one instruction. 

 

My one-day oil painting workshops will continue throughout the winter months at special reduced rates.
