criss-cross

criss-cross   4"x10"   oil on panel
I have been holding onto a quantity of 4"x10" masonite scraps in my studio, and being a cheap-skate/pack-rat, I gessoed them with the hope of someday using them  for a few elongated compositions.

I've been getting a little bored with painting cars, buses and buildings lately, so I decided to try a figure on one of these long boards. "Criss-Cross" is painted from a reference photo cropped to fit a 4x10 size ratio.

I love the pose and her attitude....
