Each month throughout the year, Portland's First Friday Art Walk features the galleries, museums, and alternative art venues of the city's downtown arts district to celebrate the creative culture that makes Portland one of the most artistically vibrant cities in the country. Creative Portland, the city's arts agency, stewards the art walk through the gathering and publication of all citywide art events as well as promoting the local arts community. This month's art walk will coincide with the opening reception of my solo show at the Roux & Cyr International Fine Art Gallery . The reception will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 and will feature over 20 new paintings focused on the theme of cafe, kitchen and restaurant.
