This past week, I held my 7th and last painting workshop of the year in Castine, Maine. We had absolutely the best weather for the three days of the workshop, painting en plein air in this little coastal village. Everyone had a great time painting and putting into practice the many ideas and techniques I discussed regarding composition, color values/temperature and process in addition to accurately "seeing" the landscape.
I would like to thank all the participants who came to Castine and participated in this year's series of workshops, and hope they will continue to grow, experiment and develop their personal artistic voices with each new painting they create.
